Helping Hands

CONTACTS: Rose Salaki ♦ (908) 221-1013 ♦ rose@salaki.com; Flo Cox ♦ (908) 766-3320 ♦ florence-cox@burgdorff.com

Founded in 1971 to help and support parishioners during times of family bereavement, the Helping Hands Committee prepares and serves luncheons after funerals and also cooks meals for families dealing with illness. Participation in this ministry is open to all adults in the parish who can volunteer to prepare salads or desserts, help set up and break down tables, or launder table linens. There are no regular meetings and all levels of participation, from regular to occasional, are most welcome. This ministry is funded with contributions from the Rosary Altar Society and other donations. Parishioners who enjoy cooking and baking, or just want to lend a hand, are encouraged to join.

I give you a new commandment: love one another; you must love one another just as I have loved you. — John 13:34
